Our senior management team have a wide range of experience, both in Occupational Health and business in general. A brief penpic of each of them follows: Dr Chris Pugh Managing Director, MBChB DIH FFOMChris is the Managing Director and founder of Duradiamond Healthcare. He formed the company with the explicit intention of providing tailored, high quality Occupational Health services to a limited number of clients. In addition to being Managing Director, Chris is still a practicing Occupational Physician with over 20 years experience in the specialty. During this time he has acquired extensive knowledge of Occupational Health provision across a wide range of organizations both in the public and private sectors. Angie Young Director of Nursing, RN, AdvDipOcc Health & SafetyAngie is Director of Nursing of Duradiamond Healthcare. She has nearly 20 years experience of Occupational Health Nursing and, as with Chris, has extensive experience of Occupational health provision across a large number of organisations. As well as her management responsibilities Angie is still clinically active and all Duradiamond Healthcare’s nurses are professionally accountable to her. Whilst managing the OH contract for the T5 construction project, Angie and her team were highly regarded and recognized by winning a number of prestigious awards. Dr Marianne Dyer Medical Director, MBChB DAv Med Dip IMC RCSEdAn energetic and highly enthusiastic physician, Marianne has experience in a broad spectrum of industries including the military, retail and oil industry. With over 15 years Occupational Health experience, Marianne is responsible for the clinical standards and governance programs within Duradiamond Healthcare and plays an integral role to all OH Policy development and offering strategic advice to our major clients. A member of the UKOOA medical advisory panel, Marianne is also qualified in aviation medicine and has experience of expatriate medical care and management of overseas workforces. Andrew Grant Business Services DirectorAndrew has an extensive business background in banking and insurance fields. He is a former Executive of Bank of Montreal in Canada and also held Director level positions with General Accident, CGU and Norwich Union. Andrew leads strategic and business planning within Duradiamond and his responsibilities also encompass Operations, IT and Risk Management functions. He is also responsible for a number of external relationships including banking and insurance relationships and with the CBI and OH industry bodies such as COHPA. Gary Buchanan Director Education Services, RGN, BAONCGary has twenty-six years experience of hospital and pre-hospital emergency medical care. He has been involved in immediate care education since 1988 and a full time training director since 1996. A pre-hospital trauma life support instructor-Royal College of Surgeons of England and an advanced life support Tom McPate UK Business Manager, RN, OHN, BScTom is Duradiamond Healthcare’s National Account Manager. Trained as a nurse, initially specialising in Accident & Emergency, Tom has worked in Occupational Health for the past 12 years and holds a degree in Occupational Health nursing. In a management capacity he has worked for companies such as BUPA, Sainsbury’s and Capita. Tom has also provided Occupational Health consultancy services for many large employers including ASDA, BT and Scottish Power. Interests include design and implementation of absence management strategies. Lyn Keogh(McManus) Business Development ManagerLives in Glasgow and has a strong background in Absence Management and Occupational Health, bringing 20 years experience to Duradiamond. Lyn has worked with other major occupational health providers in development and customer relationship management roles. Lyn has significant experience of supporting large, diverse and multifaceted organisations in both the public and private sectors to develop and deliver their occupational health strategies. Lynn is a Chartered Physiotherapist who has specialised in musculoskeletal medicine since 1989 and has worked in Occupational Health since 1997. Lynn has provided Occupational Health Physiotherapy services to a diverse range of companies in both the private and public sector; in businesses including utilities, local authorities, and railway and manufacturing industries. She is enthusiastic about promoting the benefits of early intervention and access to physiotherapy in order to maximise employees working capacity, and providing appropriate management information to facilitate absence management.
