Duradiamond Healthcare has, as a company, looked critically at the services traditionally offered by Occupational Health service providers and this, we believe, makes us unique as an OH service provider. We passionately believe in tailoring our services to the specific needs of each individual client and do not sell OH services “off the shelf” as is the case with many of our competitors. For example, we strongly feel that OH services can and should be much more interventionist in nature and believe that by intervening as soon as possible after an employee develops a health problem (preferably pre- sickness absence) and by providing some therapeutic support, in addition to the more traditional workplace modification, significant improvements can be made both in sickness absence and work performance. Similarly, where Occupational Health risks exist in the work place, we consider it more productive to work with employers to resolve these risks rather than merely providing health surveillance programs designed to detect Occupational Disease.
