Group training seminars

An hour-long seminar designed to provide groups of upto 10 office staff with a practical guide to ensuring their workstation is ergonomically set up for their individual needs, as well as establishing a comfortable working posture. This can be particularly useful when there has been an organizational relocation or refurbishment

Seminar Outline

  • How to set up the optimum workstation to suit the individual's needs and to comply with Health and Safety regulations.
  • How to adjust the individual's office chair for maximum comfort and support.
  • Posture awareness training - the importance of posture, task rotation and micro-breaks in assisting comfort at the desk, and prevention of musculoskeletal discomfort

DSE assessor training

A one day course which shows participants how to identify and minimise risks arising from DSE use.

It can be used for independent DSE trainers, or for your organisation's in-house assessors who require either novice or refresher training. There is both theoretical and practical content and a course manual is provided. Competency will be assessed and certification provided at the end of the course.

Occupational Health staff training

A one day course which will train Occupational Health staff to undertake both basic level DSE assessments and more advanced assessments where a knowledge of specialist equipment, seating, workstation layout etc could benefit employees with musculoskeletal conditions.
